Didn't realise how late in his career he made it into full-time pro football. 29 now. Goes to show, it's never too late.
Got 2-3 seasons in him still as a full-time pro if he can get a deal at L2 or Conference level.
Hope he does well. Decent player when fit.

Just heard a rumour a certain player was offered a new contract recently but said they wanted to move on but then got a bad injury and is now being released .Freeman ? Feel sorry for him if correct but we just cannot afford more long term injuries. Stree this is rumour mill stuff so take it as you find it.

Yup, he is one of the three I was told had gone earlier in the week (the other two being senior players, not Evans and Hicks).
He usually looked decent enough, but was never going to get ahead of Luther, and seemed to be unavailable whenever we actually needed him because Luther was injured, so I am perfectly happy with the decision. Same for the other two, who will be confirmed soon enough.

It will be announced once the management team has met with every player and all decisions have been finalised. The club isn't going to announce them a player at a time.
If a player has been released and wants to inform of it before the club announces them all, that is up to them and perfectly fine.

Thanks for the public information lesson and obviously I realise club will make an announcement when all talks finished .Players might be entitled to post news earlier but imo not right.
