Satisfaction levels

No words just numbers and a +,- or = symbol required.
Out of 100, how satisfied are you with the season.
And assuming we have the same manager will we be a bit better next season, a bit worse, or about the same (+ - or = )
For me 60 -
In a few days if it gets a few sensible replies I'll do some analysis and average it out. Or forget I ever posted it. One of the two.

27 numerical responses on satiafaction levels for this season:
2 scores under 40
4 under 50
15 scored 60 or higher
4 scored 70 or higher
Surprisingly positive.
21 +-= responses:
13 -
4+
4=
Clear majority anticipate us doing worse next season.
I'll run this again after our PSFs and the bulk of our squad changes.

Just checked the @_BoroStats poll that was run immediately before our opening match of this season.
From 347 votes:
7% said 1st-6th.
27% said 7th-12th.
56% said 13th-18th.
10% said 19th-24th.
So the majority of all voters, and the clearest section by a mile, were spot on.

The wisdom of crowds.
Even though our performances have been iffy, I think the satisfaction skews positive because our end position is broadly in line with most people's expectations.
Would be interesting to see what this looks like in a year's time.

7% were Farley accounts.

I think I predicted 20th on here so whilst we ran rings around that target, our points tally was much closer to that than to a surprise play-off run.

I think i was in that bracket.
But given how miserable most of the feckers are on here after every loss or blank in the goals scored column, i expected a lower satisfaction level.
But maybe it's a bit confirmation bias and the moaners always shouting a bit louder.
The lack of confidence that next season will be as good or better is roughly where i thought it'd be.
More Rotterdam than Farley.

The thing we’ve got to ask when predicting next season is how well we expect Revs to improve. What has he learnt? What will he do differently to improve results? If he has those skills, why didn’t he use them this season? The sad fact for me is that unless he has some major new ideas in his locker, based on what he’s learnt from this season, then I don’t see where the improvement will come from. Assuming he was giving it his all this season, then all we can expect is a 12-16th finish. Plus other teams will have worked us out so fresh ideas needed to advance. Let’s hope he’s got them.

Did the bare minimum, which was survival. Rev's needs to show me he can adapt.

The bare minimum would've been 20th place, surely. 14th is just average.

I think we'll strengthen over the summer and expect a fair amount of churn in the squad. Time to freshen things up.

I hope so, but would be very surprised if there is much change beyond what we already know/expect.

+ for next season, league should be a bit easier with the change in clubs and Revell has another year experience under his belt. Not much change in position though, 11th - 14th.

Plus and minus points (this season):
+ Solid league position
+ Stable squad
+ EFL Trophy run
- Playing style/entertainment value
- Lack of goals
- FA Cup performance

65, just below mid table is a good return.
= For next season, develop the squad and get better in the final third would be a +

Anyone who thinks we should be play off contenders with our resources every season is deluded. Solid midtable is at least a B-, to confuse your scoring system

I said at the beginning of the season I would be happy if we stayed up.
However I would like some more goals and more attacking intent....

Can’t fault staying up, some superb results against bigger teams, and the fact that I do think Revs has got more than a clue about good management. Can fault some poor performances, not hugely exciting, and that Revs doesn’t always seem to have a clue about good management. Very unsure about next season but tend towards the negative.
