Big shout out to Dan Phillips who gave my 12 year old grandson his shirt after the match. Taken him to most matches and to be honest many have been really poor entertainment but every time the answer to ‘do you want to go ‘ has been yes.
Thanks to Dan we will be back next season and he will be totally committed to boro.

Treasure the fact he still wants to hang out with his grandad and do something you both enjoy. Long may it last.
A small gesture like an autograph, a high five, a selfie can make a take-it-or-leave-it fan a fan for life.

It blows my mind seeing how excited the youngsters are to take a photo or get their autograph book signed from our players.
Also, doesn't the stadium brush up nicely these days? We've come a long way in three seasons.
Long may it continue.

Agree plus on ground we need to redeviop ET , know PW has indicated may only be in we went up .But still do not really know long term plan.Seems clear SBC will not sell freehold to us so wonder if we are still thinking of moving.A site at Knebworth Hse was mooted sometime ago but my fear it would be another soulless Identikit type aka Colchester.

If we are going to redevelop the ET the only acceptable outcome is safe standing. If PW turns it into all seater there will be protests

At fans forum Suggested it would , of ever happened, be a seated tier above so standing stayed .

Don't think there's any point updating it unless the regulations change and/or we're promoted to the Championship. Perhaps aside from putting a covered bar area behind the stand.

I'm not sure we need to redevelop the East Terrace unless we go up. We average around 4,000 in a 7,000 capacity ground

We may be do not need to but would be nice as an improvement, could just be a seated to tier above..The other option may be to try to fill in corners between south and north stands .Just shows signs of a progressing club..

Absolutely no point doing this. A massive waste of money that, even if we had it, could be used used elsewhere. We get nowhere near to capacity most weeks.

Perhaps in short term yes, but if we are staying ongoing it will decorate and even with the odd tart you will start to look tinpot imo.

You'd hope with a name like Deltic he'd use something with more umpf than a bus...

The plan was in to knock down Knebworth House and build a new stadium there but English Heritage intervened saying the East Terrace was of too much cultural value to lose.

Lol, I think Freemo's message might be tongue in cheek
IMO knebworth house land would have been a terrible idea, crowds would plummet with the loss of walk up demand and being in the middle of nowhere, plus they'd end up charging for parking

Think it's fully occupied by other visitors at moment😂Serious though if we did move where to , I am struggling to think of a suitable site.

Although I’m quite sure they’d never allow it, I think the Valley’s an excellent idea. There is plenty of land, mainly underused, at the south end of the park and we now own the Valley school pitches next door. There could be plentiful parking, stadium, suitable shops, (maybe flats too?) and a whole new football facility could be developed without any real loss of amenity in the rest of the valley area. Always thought this would be a good site if we had to move.

We do not own the Valley School pitch.AVC or Mick Avery does or owns lease and renting to us,but get your general point on possible future .

We should have pushed to be part of the Icon building development, pitch in the middle and tower blocks all round like Leyton Orient or Wimbledon. Selling off special 'pitch view' luxury apartments. Stones throw from the station and the old town pubs, perfect

Good lad, he has been good this season, and won MOTM both home games this week.
