Walsall

Have before today drawn 8 and lost 4 of there last 12 games and are losing now . If they would have secured a point a game for the last 13 ( equivalent to playing to the level of 22nd in the division) they would have still gone up.
Last week they scored a goal with the last kick of the game , celebrated for 30 seconds and then had it ruled out for hand ball ( which it was )
For a fan it must be so painful, not sure I can remember a bigger collapse from a team .

13 matches without a win for Walsall now, and counting.
Winning is the aim of the game.
Our longest winless run of this season is just five games. We have never had a season in our entire EFL history where our longest winless run of the season is less than it was this season.

2 wins in 11. (Edit: and those were against sides being relegated)

Exactly the same as our end to last season then. Only last season we actually still had something to play for.

Walsall flunked and still Bradford f’ed it up. Stood to win nearly 4K if they had won the title after backing them pre season at 12-1. In the last couple of weeks tbey lead 4-3 at Swindon in stoppage time and lost 5-4 and then lead 3-2 at chesterfield in stoppage time and drew 3-3. Betting gods were not with me

Well, yes although some of it came from free bet offers. And some is on them to finish top three so a whole seven days to wait until they f it up against Fleetwood next week and I don’t get a single dime back. On the positive side I backed Peterhead to win Scot’s league 2 at 9-2 and they obliged today

He probably put money on us being relegated too. Like many did. Not me though. I knew Revell would keep us up.

Have to wait until I know what sides are in the league, and what signings we make/player we let go.
Either way, my predictions are usually wrong.
