Clearing a set piece, and then having a player go down with a “head injury” so the ref stops play, and the ball is given back to their goalkeeper was a superb idea.

A lot of effort put in. Back 5 looked solid on the whole.
We got a bit tired towards the end, especially when they brought on their expensive subs.
Would've been a hard earned point but for a decent shot.

The tackle from Sweens on Stansfield was quality.
He's got a very punchable face

...and what about their 19 playing the ref throughout...not forgetting their goalie who was in the ear of the linesman.
Glad we won't be playing that horrible lot for a few more years!

And very nearly equalised with Harvey almost doing what their player did at the end.
Didn't look troubled all game, bar one thunderbastard strike through a bunch of bodies. Shame.

I started the evening assuming we wouldn’t really be in the running, but I take it back. That was a creditable performance from us and we fought hard throughout, right up to the final whistle. If we could shoot, we’d be dangerous.
Ultimately I saw two key differences between us and Brum. Brum attack fast, and in numbers, 3 or 4 runners at a time with quick and accurate passing between the options; and also that with one sniff of opportunity, they shoot. If we could take a leaf out of their book in these regards there really wouldn’t have been much between us at all.

They didn’t look particularly threatening but were a damn sight better than us at that ‘passing to a team mate’ business

Proper fairytale how plucky Birmingham have beaten all the odds to win the league.
It's like Leicester winning the Premier League and Wimbledon winning the FA Cup rolled into one.
They should make a documentary about it. Probably won't see a club defying the odds like that again for decades.
