Great Masters last night. Really enjoyed that.
I might take up golf.

I went to bed when McIlroy did a great shot onto the green over the water on the 15th to go back in the lead, and assumed it would go to a tie breaker.
Not really into golf but interesting when it's close and lots at stake.

I've priced up the cost of taking up golf. I can't afford it.

Did you include a new 4x4 or Estate to fit the clubs in the boot?

Did you include actual costs, or the costs you tell the wife how much the clubs and golf weekends in portugal cost?
Even Stevenage want £45 for a morning round at the weekend now. I've just paid £55 for an afternoon midweek at Essendon 😭

When I buy something the other half questions, I always say "well, I don't play golf"! Most things are cheaper than playing golf.

My golfing prowess ended at the pitch and put at Hampson Park where I spent most of the time trying to find my lost balls.

I played there a few times in my youth. Forgot about that place.

I always suspected you’d lost your balls.

Hampson Park pitch and put...that was a great public asset we enjoyed along with our young children back in the day.
Still walk the dog up there from time to time...the banks and greens are still there but blend in with the other grass areas nowadays.
