Jan Window Tomorrow Revised Thoughts
Views: 1767
In light of recent improvements what are people's revised views, if any, of what we need to add .Assume we should treat JFC as in effect out plus it might be dictated by the LJW and Butler situation as to whether we try to get cover.
PS assume no more outgoings other than Bouzanis, has he gone back anyway ?

I thank him for his clean sheet against Palace U21 that helped us on our way to last night's match.

Released by Hibs, Local lad and been here before....
Seen a few Hibs fans say he's heading back to us, Can't see it myself or that we'd need him

I see from his Wikipedia page that he's still a bit of a 'character'. Apparently linked to Bromley.
Amos is a shame - after his loan with us he made his Premier League debut and seemed to have all the tools to be a strong Championship player at least, but has stalled.

Agree but even if we wanted Amos assume could not afford salary.

Not sure Hibs fans seem to think he was on 3k a week so I wouldn't say we couldn't afford him

Always makes me.laugh when fans think they know a player's salary. An agent might leak it (and overstate it) to try and influence a contract with a new club, otherwise, at our level, it's all entirely guesswork.
I have zero clue what our wage or bonus structure looks like.
I don't much care.
I can guess who our big earners are but whether they're on £1300 a week or £4000? No idea.

Yep, and none of them were completely made up.
Because every club definitely puts confidential and commercially sensitive information out there for fan sites to harvest and post.
(I am aware you share.my scepticism)

I reckon there are managers/'first team coaches' in the Prem right now who couldn't tell you what their players are on.

This is it i mean they may be close to the mark I don't know nor do I care, But of they were id like to think we could cover it and get him playing like he did previously with us. Would be a great addition.
But I am happy with the squad we have already, Maybe it's a shame we didn't bring someone in who could cover in the full back positions but we should be fine.
Atm I'm enjoying seeing a few Carlisle fans thinking Gerrard could be on his way there 😂

My assumption was he was bound to be on a decent salary at Hibs and we probably could not or would not match it but of course he might lower his expectations now, hence Bromley might be in the equation.

Pretty much every comment from Oxford fans is saying he is far too good for us and for League One if we can get and keep him fit.
Promising.

Full back cover depending on the injury situation
Freestone has done well to his credit, but he’s clearly a centre half and isn’t mobile enough at LB. Got burnt a few times at Barnsley, and I’m surprised Wrexham and Exeter didn’t target him more.

Possibly someone who can cover both full-back positions and a midfielder (loans would be fine for both).
Hoping for no outgoings from the first team squad unless the money is too good to turn down.

Yeah, I'll be surprised if we don't bring a full back in. Doubt we'll see any more business, particularly now that we've retained King.
Isn't having a strong, balanced and stable squad wonderful?! Keep pinching myself tbqh

Good point about King. I'd be quite happy if King and/or Murphy Cooper were to sign permanently.
