I’ve been living in a cave in Borneo without internet since the start of the season. Pleased to be able finally log on tonight and see we’re doing ok in League One. Revs has quite clearly adapted well to his second spell in management - I thought this would be the case as he had all the attributes and I’m sure Boro fans have been right behind him all season. Looks like we don’t score many but Captain Pidge is still the boss at the back. If I ever get the wifi working permanently in this cave then I’ll be able to follow a few games

Can we play like this every week? Lovely football, moving the ball well, clinical passing, not afraid to actually shoot, urgency to score.

Phillips being back has helped a lot I feel. Makes the midfield a lot more dynamic.

Dan Kemp

What a player. Confidence absolutely flowing through him. Dominated that first half. King was very good as well.
I absolutely love Luther but attacking wise Smith is great.
Let's hope we keep the intensity and don't sit back. We can always make changes if needed, but sitting back all half would/ will be awful.

Does anyone know if Kemp is under contract next year?
If not, Wallace may need to get the wallet out soon.

I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t 2 years.
Or at least 1 + 1.
Either way id put another contract in front of him this morning.

Didn't realise he's only 5'6"
Nor do I remember his loan period with us back in 2020.

He was one of GW's four January deadline day signings intended to keep us up. Seems to recall the exact same pattern of him being ineffective out wide but playing there anyway, with the exact same manager...

King really impressed me with his cameo on Saturday by being clever with the ball rather than just conservative. Good pro given how little he's featured.

Makes such a difference having a proper target man in Appere. We've missed him terribly this season.

I may have given the impression at Oakwell that we should've snapped someone's hands off to get cash for Reid, that he was living on his reputation from two years ago, and that he could no longer be arsed to lift up a banjo let alone hit a barn door with it.
That was banter.

I’d argue the whole break for the 1st was well executed, to the point where the goaly did what he could but the ball was destined to end up in the goal. The 2nd, he should have stopped that - went straight through him.

Great break. Roberts should have done better. Luckily their keeper is pony and Kemp didn’t switch off.

Roberts shot was utterly pathetic. Lucky their keeper fucked up and didn't waste a delightful break.

Yeah - upon review, the only reason we scored that first goal is because the keeper made a total horlicks of the initial save-attempt.

We have scored a quarter of all the goals that Wrexham have conceded at home this season. They have played 16 matches. LOLZ.

I think many things ended our playoff run last season - Pidge's elbow was circumstantial.
Things like Evans deciding he'd rather watch game after game from the directors' box.
