Suspected it would be the case once we signed Appere, but Hemmings is off.

40 appearances (21 starts, 19 sub) for us, with seven goals. Only Reid scored more for us last season.

Still have not seen any official announcement on this or indeed anything more re Macca , but I suspect also off given our apparent interest in other midfielders

Scored some important goals for us, worked hard a seems a great guy. A league 2 club will be lucky to have him, league 1 is a bit above his level imo.

Would we say that Appere is an upgrade on Hemmings? I've only really seen him in highlights from the first (?) game of the season just gone.

Hopefully. Hemmings was certainly decent enough (those who judge a striker purely on goals will disagree).

Appere has looked good whenever I’ve seen him. Hopefully a younger model in a similar mould.
