I?m about to sound like a miserable stuck record but our songs are awful now too. Just rehashed premier league numbers and the cringeworthy one about Evans. I don?t even buy that one being sung ironically.

I thought ?Kenners get your knob out,? was scraping the barrel.

I love the fact they still sing "Pressley in attack" in the we've got super Steve Evans song, despite him having not played for months and could easily just sing Reidy.

Probably a reflection of the face that their manager has given us credit and they know we gave them a good game at their place earlier in the season.

Good to see Smith back in the side today. I thought he did look a little rusty at times, but played some great balls into dangerous positions.

Butler was great. MOTM for me.

I didn't think the ref was toooo bad. Yes, some decisions a bit iffy, but same applied for both sides. The incident when Reid was through on goal was 50/50 IMO. I don't think he had control of the ball.

Good to keep a clean sheet, especially with Pidge and Sweeney out.

Lack of goals is frustrating, but I guess feeling disappointed to only get a draw against Bolton shows how far we've come...

NGW and Butler were superb today. Thought Smith looked good and some good saves from Taye as well.

Not sure why we left the subs so late again£ always frustrates me. Freeman and Louis could have made a difference with 20 minutes to go.

Dont know where to start with the ref so I wont bother.

Decent shift all in all, confident for Monday

Makeshift CBs.

Assume Nathan is carrying a knock not to get in the 11, otherwise he's gonna be very miffed.

Good to see Smith back but not sure Bolton in a must-win as part of a never seen before back 3/5 is ideal. He will be blowing out his arse by half-time.

Best 0-0 you will see for a while.
No Pidge No Sweens and we almost nicked it.
Thompson will be haunted by that miss although they did hit the bar in the first half.
Both going for a win, drawnot ideal for either side.
Ref decent until 60 then lost his way.
Great effort by the boys, let?s get the 3 points on Monday, hopefully Charlton are already on the beach.

One of the most interesting facets of Evans' management to me is that there are games where he has clearly decided ahead of time he will stick, and others where he will twist. In L2 you could tell from the way he made his decisions that he was hell bent on promotion because he was far less respectful in the games he chose to go all or nothing in.

I thought I was going to be alone in my opinions but am pleased to see them largely replicated in this thread. Butler and GW both excellent, really worked and drove that left side. I always did like Kane and wasn?t disappointed with him today - he won most of his headers and was good at travelling the ball quickly out of defence and making some great choices in his passes. He overhit one or two of them, sure, but it?s being unnecessarily critical to mention those, considering how long he?s been out. A couple of superb flying tackles from Roberts, and Macca an absolute Trojan.

Gotta pass comment on the ref too. I thought, until 68 minutes, he was pretty good. Fair to both sides, keen to get on with the game, not brandishing cards even on some pretty agricultural tackles? he was fine for me. Then on about 68 minutes I started disagreeing with him quite vehemently, so he went down in my estimation after that.

We?ll rue that miss. So frustrating. Hey ho.
