Carl,
I'm asking if you can please establish why, at the end of the last couple of home games, the black gate in the north-east corner of the ground has been locked shut, thereby preventing ready access to the car park behind the east terrace.
Not only does it mean that several less-able supporters like myself have a longer trek around the ground - past the away supporters leaving at the same time - but yesterday I witnessed carers visibly distressed at having to push wheelchairs from the North Stand all the way around the ground to their vehicles.
Any light you can shed on this recent change would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bob. Yes we are aware of it and speaking to the club. We are asking them if alternative arrangements can be made.
I?ll post updates on here (and other socials) once we know what?s going on.

Good man. Thanks. It's already bad enough having the away supporters' coaches parked up behind the south stand preventing everyone else's exit for ages post match!
Appreciate all you do for the club and supporters.

After the Cambridge game I had an email conversation with our DLSO, Alex Potter, about this problem. Apparently, on that occasion the stewards were told to direct disabled supporters to wait in the 76 Lounge. As no stewards were at the gate when I got there I was not aware of this arrangement so had to embark a the trek around the ground.
Whilst I understand the need to keep rival sets of idiots apart, our Blue Badge holders deserve better treatment.
As all Blue Badge holders are accommodated in the West and North stands, it would make sense for their allocated parking to be behind the West Stand instead of the East. The whole of the East car park could then be allocated to the more able bodied supporters.
