What we see already is that Pidge carries a lot of our other defensive players

How many league games has he missed since he first started?
Any at all?
It's hard to not feel a little bit pessimistic about the next 3 games without him there.

This ends Pidge's run of 8️⃣3️⃣ consecutive EFL matches for the club, and is the first time he will have missed a single league match since signing for us.
— BoroStats (@_BoroStats) March 15, 2024
Only Mark Roberts has played more consecutive matches in the EFL, with his run of 8️⃣7️⃣ matches between 2011-13. https://t.co/r0MKZEo5yk

Losing your goalie and star leader/defender is a disaster. We don’t have adequate gk cover. Sweens played well and topped that by ushering Wellens on 🙈😂🙈😂

As much as we're gonna missed Pidge at the back, it also takes away one of our biggest goal threats. Not ideal with BGR going through a dodgy spell. Gonna need the front group taking their chances!

Carlisle away without Reid and Pidge is going to be great

As I said, the cutoff has passed for ten cautions (it is only relevant to the first 37 matches of the season), so it doesn't matter if he gets another.

So no point in awarding yellows other than it could count towards 2 in same game and a then a red.

Wonder what our lineup will look like tomorrow. Does Nathan Thompson come in or Burns and play a back 3, or do we just go with Sweeney and TVC in a back four.
Also, who is our vice captain?

Armband will be Luther I bet.
We'll stick with a back 4, Nathan and Sweenz.
TVC CDM.

Imagine that.
NT and Sweeney in the middle, neither of whom have much pace, and a CB who looks ridiculously out of place in midfield, playing in midfield. Typical that our chances first half on Wednesday all fell to sodding TvC, the one person you don't want anywhere near the opposition goal.
This is bullshit. I fucking despise Orient.

When I heard the news I put £10 on Orient so that should ensure we draw so I get no money nor the 3 points I would dearly love.

Pretty sure Nathan is VC.
He captained against the full strength Watford team we held without Pidge.

I doubt whether those spanners who do the iFollow camera work would have picked it up. They have enough trouble with following the big round thing.

Agree that they can retrospectively give a suspension but if you get a pen decision against you it's just a sorry.Realise that's the reality but true

Exactly, how is it fair this is retrospectively given but our penalty isn't retrospectively awarded?

In a strange way it might galvanise the rest of the group... Any thought of coasting and hoping Pidge will get us out of the shit is gone.
Well Spurs improved after Harry left and Liverpool did OK while Mo was away ... straw clutching...
