At least to 2 non local blokes sitting in Pub in Hitchin today .They were saying Lewis Hamilton was right , allegedly he said this, and he's right and how can anyone live there,all on benefits etc

I thought you were talking about me until you said they lived in Mansfield!

If theyve only seen the new town, then I dont blame them for thinking that, it is rather ghastly.

From the away games where ive traveled by train, i cant think of many worse walks from station to ground than our one. Off the top of my head only Millwall and Barrow.

One of my mates does a lot of groundhopping by train and when I asked where was grimmest he did say we were in the conversation.

Although I walked to the ground from the station at Scunthorpe once in horrendous weather and have been back a few times and never attempted it again.

I don't really get why our walk would be grim. You've got a police station, an Asda, a load of other retail units everywhere has, and quite a lot of trees and greenery. Can't say I've been to many nicer walks from station to ground tbh

I walked from Belfast city centre to Crusaders football ground and felt quite unsafe. Were a couple of nice murals on the way though.

Went to Belfast a few yrs back and got bus from Int Airport to Centre ,you go past that area and ground, yes looked bleak.

New town is a new town,yes needs updating . In fact they should build more new towns with council houses .Rant over.
