Jake Hyde looked decent at St Albans preseason too. He even nabbed a couple of goals IIRC.

JMW's main problem was that he was a winger in a team that didn't play with wingers. Luke Freeman, for example, could operate as a #10.

I missed the permanent bit. Loft and McFadzean were loans too.
We've had so few permanent goalies I couldn't tell you the shittest one. It'd be a job of work to find out which ones they were.
McCombe stood out (literally) because you'd have thought just being really tall would have enabled him to reach a certain baseline.

Bailey Clements was fucking dreadful. I'd put him at centre back just so i can squeeze in Denton too!

And Hughes was a decent player before and after us. It just didn't work here with McCombe alongside him.

The games I saw Hughes be bad in he had McCombe next to him being worserer. Grant falling over was more likely to be of benefit to the team than Tansey's tackling or Gorman's passing. Hyde I only saw play for ten minutes and he was alright.
