Taye

Two clean sheets and just one goal conceded since coming back into the team.
12 clean sheets in 25 League One games for him. He got 12 in 26 last season in League Two.
What a keeper he is. We are so lucky to have him.

There was an old geezer in front of me on the ET last night who said he would prefer Craig MacGillivray between the sticks, Taye hasn't really been tested!...Also said Dan Butler was one dimensional.
Had to move away from him at HT before I said something.

Does anyone know why he was ever dropped in the first place?
Genuinely still baffled by it.

One of life's mysteries. Not sure why we signed Heygi and rotated them either, then we sign another loan keeper and replaced him.
It's as though Evans doesn't rate him, yet all the results and clean sheet stats support him. Perhaps Evans wants something different from the keeper in terms of attacking/distribution? Who knows.

Made me a bit nervous tonight, mainly his kicking

Couple of miscommunication errors with the defence last night but no concerns otherwise.
Seems to be a lot of piss and panic on the terraces when he clips the ball to the flanks just inside our half yet nine times out of ten it goes to one of our players. Therefore I?d suggest it?s intentional.
Best keeper we?ve had since Daisy without a shadow of a doubt.

Yeah, much rather have MacGillivray in and concede three goals.

Don?t be sensitive Chuds, I was nervous that is all. I?m one of Tayes biggest fans, and the other too can do one. But call it as I felt it

I was nervous from 69 mins to 97 mins ?
I smelt a smelly equalising night ruiner incoming
Some cracking other results in league one as well.

Surely we can get in another loan keeper to replace him for a few games where we do shit, before putting him back in. ?

And a couple of charges out of his box.
Against a better side he'd have been punished.

I reckon I will back him, with his clean sheet every other game across two seasons, ya know?

Agree. But that is the first slightly poor performance I?ve seen from him. And a clean sheet. There should be no debate

The charges out his box are normally a strength.

The best keeper we've had since Chris Day.

He is better than Day.
Which is absolutely no discredit to Daisy.

Not yet he isn?t. But could definitely go that way.

His legacy and status etc is not better than Day but if we are talking purely goalkeeping abilities, he may well be.
I'm not really a goalkeeper expert to know, but I certainly feel very comfortable with Taye in goal and to me appears to be high quality.

That's some statement.
Daisy and Taye are level pegging for me. Both had/have a big save in them every match.
It's outrageous that Taye hasn't got a song!
