Grown men making gestures at each other pretending they are tough guys.
If they were that hard they’d have jumped the small fence and slugged it out. They are absolute mouth breathers.
Embarrassing to watch!

Even the hardest men know they would break like waves on the shore against our elite stewarding operation.

Deserved to win. Played some nice football at times. Never feel truly comfortable with a one goal advantage. Reid should get a bollocking for not playing Hemmings in in the second half.
Highlight for me was the boy stood near me on the ET who repeatedly shouted “Butler!” in complete sincerity while sounding like Blakey from On The Buses.

I agree, that was game over if he makes that pass. That's happened a few times recently with a killer pass not being played, due to players not being aware. It's why they are playing for us and not the likes of Portsmouth or in the Championship.
Overall, thought we did well just needed that second to kill to game off. It's great to see a whole team putting in a shift to grind out a result.

Yeah, I know Reid is desperate after three without a goal (for the second time - his worst of the season), but that was scandalous.
Totally comfortable performance, where we really should have had another two or three but were wasteful, and where I at no point felt worried about conceding.
Amazed by Cambridge's approach tonight, they gifted us it without us really having to work.
A very professional and comfortable evening's work, and two straight home wins and clean sheets, which was very much needed.
And six straight wins over Cambridge. A good night.

Deserved win, although a few “moments” during the second half that make it no such a comfortable watch, but an enjoyable one.
Ref was excellent on the whole, couple of odd bookings but managed the game well, especially with the flare in added time.
Fans tonight where the let down. Again the minority but never good to see a mum cradling a youngster having to move from the east terrace into the north through fear. Both sets of fans did not cover themselves in glory tonight and it’s gonna cost the club again in the pocket when the FA letter lands in Wallace’s in tray during the week.
And to the moaning **** in the north if your not happy stay at home and stop moaning..!!!!!!

The steward in the away end on a power trip started all of that.

Did he throw the flare?
Or the coins and stuff flying both ways?
Stewards may not be great but don't excuse the idiots on either side.

Was well before the flare. Dragging someone half your size out by his neck, no matter how moronic he was, will not defuse the situation

East Terrace Stewarding
Views: 773
The centre section of the East Terrace was very busy with the steps totally blocked. The steward on duty was a young girl who was not able/comfortable in keeping things clear. The senior safety team came by a few times, looked and did nothing.
These steps should have been policed by a senior steward and the young girl moved to the much lower risk are of the North Stand.

Didn't want to say owt beforehand but I thought six points from these last two was essential if we want to be in the playoffs and after a lot of graft we've done just that. I don't see us finishing lower than 7th.

Referee

I'm not at the game tonight but I see that in charge is a former MLS ref. Hows he getting on. I assume better than your average EFL official? Also Andy D'Urso's son running the line.

Let the game flow. Got more decisions right than wrong too. One of the better refs we’ve had in recent times.

I'd have rated him higher than that, but thought it was one of the easier games to referee. Arguably that could be because he was doing a good job.

Yeah I think he's been good, as were the refs at Derby and Vale on the whole. Maybe Steve's psychological warfare is winning out

Was going to complain about pass selection and quality in the final third but then we scored a good goal so fuck it, so far good. Cambridge won't just bend over though, need to keep it up.
