That day at Old Trafford

We were probably slight underdogs against Torquay, a bigger club than us, with a decent following, a bit of history and a bright future.

Today their owner has stood down as chairman of the board, revealed he's run out of money due to issues with other family businesses and can no longer support the club financially.

Maybe not quite a Mousinho sliding doors moment but a reminder, should we need one, that the stability a decent owner affords, should *never* be taken for granted.

Gary Johnson gone.Read still full time but will prob now have to stop that which will make it harder to attract players down there .Fans worried a definite downward spiral .

Think that was the last game of football I got to watch with my dad. We were on holiday near Torquay so didn’t make the game 😅 He cheered when we scored even though he wasn’t really a football fan. WHATAGUY.
