That's 2 defeats and a draw snatched from the jaws of victory in our last 4.

I'm choosing to stay positive and it's certainly no time to panic.

But we've now used up all the slack we really had over those around us so this patchy form needs to conclude with tonight's disappointment.

Still confident Evans will get us back on track though and I'll be getting ready to book my travel south for Wembley before long.

This blip isn't as bad as last year's blip. We are playing reasonably well and just not getting results. We were never going to be winning every game so you take the rough with the smooth.

Last year we randomly started playing like shit all of a sudden and the blip was a lot more concerning because it looked like a potential sign of things to come. I don't feel the same way this season.

I would like us to try and switch the formation up a little though and try the 5-3-2 again. It worked well for us last year and I think suits the players we have.

I also think Evans needs to start hooking Roberts at half time when he's clearly having an off game. He rarely turns it out around if he starts the game poorly, so I'd rather we just cut our losses. He has 1 bad game in every 3, which is fine, but let's either rotate better to keep him sharp, or hook him when he's not doing well. When he's off the boil it's like playing with 10 men. This has nothing to do with last night btw, I didn't even watch the game. I just mean as a general rule of thumb.

Agree with all points.

Although I wouldn't even say we are in a blip, so really no need to panic at present. Three games without a win (which is nothing), not even three straight defeats, and we won the three in a row before it.

For me you need to have a five or six match winless run to start to worry, and the fewest points we have got in a five match spell this season is seven. If we don't beat any of Derby, Wycombe or Cambridge then we can start to worry about how our season ends, but not yet, for me.

Our blip last year coincided with the goalkeeping merrygoround when AH was injured...

This is the start of a blip, and AH has been dropped inexplicably, coinciding with it, coincidence?

Could have been a lot, lot, worse if the sides around us didn't drop points. But going into a tough game against Derby we should arguably be 8 points better off in the table. I was sure a couple of weeks ago we were starting to look favourites for that last playoff spot. Now I think it's going to be very tough going to get it.

Evans blaming the ref again last night is nothing short of pathetic.

The only time to panic would be if we were in danger of going down. We?re not and we won?t be this season.

Very frustrating tonight but there?s still a lot of football to be played. Hopefully we can take something from Saturday (and Taye plays).

We all have bad days at work and today was one of those for Evan?s.

They went 2-0 down made the change and that changed the game. We made our changes too late and possibly the wrong ones. The subs killed what rhythm we had at the time although they did get that back but way too late.

It?s been said many times about TAH being dropped, but that back 4/5 does not look anywhere as composed as we do with TAH. Granted keeper is as not to be blamed for any of the goals but as a unit we are no where near as composed and solid. I think we are owed justification for the GK situation it?s just baffling.

If we?d been offered staying up in August we?d have taken it. To be in the discussion to potentially go up again at this point of the season is brilliant.

There?s too much Chicken Little syndrome going on with every result that isn?t a win these days. It?s quite boring and will only get worse the higher we get up the pyramid, which ironically will bring more ?negative? results.

Just enjoy the football, don?t shit the bed every time anything at all happens and put Taye back in the team.

He's been poor for a long time. Missed a trick not getting Saxon back. Even if he wouldn't be fit straight away.

I'd say less than half this starting XI deserve to be out there on merit atm. Guess we don't have a lot of options though.

Still absolutely dogshit from attacking throw ins and now it's spreading to the rest of the set pieces.

You keep living in your little positive bubble. I'll live in reality. We've no right to be in the league position we are, but why should I be happy when we are masters of our own downfall? The last month, and arguably before, simply haven't been good enough. If you can walk away from that smiling then great, but I can't.

I haven't got a reason to be happy with the result and performance tonight, but to be where we are considering we we're relegation favourites, that's why I've been more happy then pissed off and moan and groan each week.

The useless bugger has conceded eight goals in five games with just a solitary clean sheet, has zero communication with the defensive unit, is slow as fuck coming off his line, leading to issues every game, and is worse than Taye in every single way other than perhaps slightly his kicking. The whole defence looks far less comfortable and confident with him behind them.

AND he isn't even ours.

It is bloody ridiculous.

#TEAMTAYE.

I mostly trust Evans' judgement, but what on earth is going on today. No Taye. No LJW. Team is stacked with defensive players but still conceded 3.

I wish we'd revert to the 5-3-2 / 3-4-1-2.

I don't think it's just at the back though. As I said before the match, certain players in midfield just don't do enough for me.

Regardless, hopefully Chuds gets his wish. Taye has to come back in for Saturday doesn't he?
