Starting 11 for the Boro
Ashby-Hammond
James - Wildin
Piergianni
TVC
Butler
Forster-Caskey
Freeman
Burns
Reid
Pressley
B.Thompson
Subs - Mitchell, Sweeney, Mcdonald, List, Roberts, L.Thompson, Hemmings.
For me, starting TVC is a positive and also I'm for one glad to see Pressley starting who deserves more of a chance.
My score prediction - Shrewsbury 2 Boro 1.

The sooner we get out of this tin pot league and into the Championship the better. Less League 1 gaffers heads will roll. Wait a minute...how many would roll if we started turning over teams in the Championship.
Don't you just love "little old Stevenage"!

I got a coach to the ground from a nearby pub and the locals were certainly not pleased with the way things have been going, to the extent some of them behind me forced their mate to change topic away from football on the return trip.

He is now alone at the top of our all-time EFL goalscorer list.
We have scored in 12 consecutive EFL matches for the first time ever.

They were so poor apart from the 22. I'd happily swap him for Sweeney.

Would be interesting to see know how many outright winners he?s scored. Obviously he?s BGR for a reason. The only goal of that nervy scrappy game against Crewe at home last February. Northampton away..

This season, five (three 1-0s, plus 2-1 away at Cambridge and Burton), plus Tranmere in the FA Cup.
Edit: Last season was also five in the league, plus one in the cup.
Edit 2: Northampton away? We drew at them last season when he scored. Pidge scored the winner this season.

To be fair I've seen better football in non-league than today.
Not tested their gk at all.
Midfield looks exactly what is is, 3 slow central midfielders and a cb. Awful.
All our attacking thrown ins, as every week, are dogshit.

He said it in the 6th minute and its wasn?t an observation of the game. It was a general comment about Stevenage - a team he?s probably not even watched. To be fair, it must be hard to watch us when you are used to the amazing football that Shrewsbury turn out every week.

Having Butler back to give us balance is massive.

TvC will be CB with Burns as CDM.
Ben T was our best player at Maidstone and changed our whole performance after he came on, so glad he is starting.
Also feel Pressley is unfortunate to have played so little of late, so pleased he is starting.

I feel like playing four at the back with a narrow midfield away from home and politely asking the home side not to attack the wings has had mixed results.
