Pre-Season Episode 1
Views: 934
Hi everyone,
Our first pre-season episode dropped this week (before The Smith/Ashby-Hammond signings). We have a load of intended topics which we probably skim over and waffle about other nonsense instead.
Any listens and feedback greatly appreciated and received.
Cheers.
Edit: have some handy links to listen.

Very much enjoyed it. It chimes in with my natural pessimism and world weariness.

Had a listen today, alongside Farley's latest pod.
No real feedback, but keep up the good work.
I think it's great for the fanbase that we have two podcasts, one full of relentless positivity, and the other one a bit more "realistic"... Helps keep things nicely balanced!

I’d argue that the podcast with relentless positivity is the epitome of unbalanced. Especially when that relentless positivity is based on 7 seasons of absolute shit football, coinciding with when the club started “winning off the pitch (registered trademark)” by appointing a celebrity football manager who couldn’t even find a pair of socks in his sock drawer, let alone find a decent centre half on the transfer market.
Unless, of course, the podcast with relentless positivity is all an elaborate ruse by the club, getting a willing stooge to promote its corporate propaganda to us gullible idiots. A bit like Hitler did with Lord Haw-Haw. (That’s one for the teenagers).
Edit: by the way, I’m not saying the club is like Hitler. Mussolini, maybe.

The real reason Dominic Jordan left the club is because he’d started following The Daily Stevenage on twitter.
This, and more conspiracy theories, will be discussed in my latest podcast, The Stevenage FC Conspiracy Theories Podcast.

Phil Wallace is one of those shape shifting lizards.
Dino actually ran over Westley's dog and framed Josh Walker.
Robin Trott's testimonial was played behind closed doors.
Dean Martin returned to Boro twice to play but under different names and disguises on both occasions.

He also came to watch a game disguised as Teddy Sheringham.

Cheers mate.
The thought of being as positive as Farley gives me a headache, though I'm glad you said "realistic" and not "negative"!!
