First game I've seen in three years.

Two thoughts, firstly absolutely hate the god awful strip we were wearing and secondly few if any of the team are worthy of representing the club.

Oh, and just watch Yeovil draw a top Premiership club away next round.

Dippers i went and watch colchester game live thanks to fifi and tom loved the day but football is awful, yovil by far the better side and although wont happen it should be stevenage in conference not yovil. Not like the old days m8

Maybe that’s the issue. None of them want to play for the shirt because the shirt is so awful.

I thought exactly the same RE: 3rd round draw.

The thing which really bugs me more than anything was the absolute lack of passion the team had. It wasn't exactly a cracking cup tie was it !?

On TV, chance to be in the 3rd round and a month before the transfer window opens and that is how they played? If they can't get motivated for that, what chance is there?

Oh, and why was Elliott List rested again last night? He really should have been playing :-)

Were you watching the same match? List played all 90 minutes.

I'm guessing the curry was much better than the football that went before!

Not the passion rubbish again.

The only thing we lacked yesterday was the ability to put the ball in the net, which is the story of our season and every season since we had Matty Godden.

I think urgency is a better word for what is lacking. Everything is just far too slow, and the lack of urgency is easily translated as a lack of passion.

Scoring goals isn't just about having a great striker. List is excellent but the service he gets is atrocious.

We desperately, desperately need a playmaker. I actually think that player could be Read. And Read also helps with the lack of urgency. I also think Osborne would be far more effective played centrally.

Andrade isn't the answer. Not as a 10, and not as a winger. Another player who's only positive attribute is his speed.

Good Post
Absolutely agree with all of that.
The Osborne move into the middle might be a good idea
The Taylor Reeves isn't working for me.

I actually think Osborne would be more effective not playing at all...
But you are right about Andrade, and I thought he would be a really good signing.

I honestly don't get the hate for Osborne. He's not amazing, of course, but considering there's people on here who think that Coker, Wildin and Prosser are decent players, I find it odd that Osborne gets so much stick.

I have been pitch side for nearly alll the games hone and away.
Elliot is a decent footballer, lacks pace, doesnt generally get back to defend the ball, which in turn can expose Luther, and your idea of playing more central maybe we would see the better of him

Me either. Wasn’t it he who has threaded some perfectly-weighted passes into the path of List? I think he creates more than he gets credit for.

Talking to a couple of non stevenage fans who watched on tv they both thought we deserved to win. The stats bear that out. We had much more possession, nearly twice as many shots, 6 corners against 0. Apart from the mistake Smith had nothing to do. Understandably straight after the game we were angry, but lets not go over the top. It does not hide that we are carrying some players, but it was not the worst! Lets get behind the team in the next crucial 7 days

this may have done the club favour lets now get on with getting the points in the league.
yesterday if we played all night we would not have scored (another) we had plenty of chances but
it was a typical f,a cup game and at the end of the day Yeovil deserved what they got good luck to them.

shame the tent outside the ground is now rotting away.
