hope who ever is going have a good journey there and back.

as were on a slight roll 2 wins and fat boy not coming, will go for a

1-1 list again. would be nice for a treble of penalty,s for a late win.

Robbie O'Keefe's interviews are very refreshing. Someone who acknowledges when they get something wrong and explains how they tried to change things. Such an improvement from recent years

Just listened to the interview...apart from being so refreshing he makes complete sense of it all. He is eloquent, calm and very concise.

Giving each player 3 things to concentrate on for the duration of the match obviously works.

No bla-bla-bla, football made simple.

Well done Robbie.

I agree, he's been great so far.

Giving players detailed instructions might work at the top level - look at PSG Man City last night - but it clearly doesn't here, and football is a remarkably simple game once you strip all the nonsense back.

He couldn't really have said, or done, much more than he has in the past few games

And yet people are complaining still. I honestly don't know what people want. I complain a lot, but only cos it's shit. We now have a manager who talks sense, has a clear understanding of the game and how he wants to approach matches, and there are clear signs that things will improve if we were to stay with ROK, so I've stopped complaining because, honestly, I don't know that we can do much better than what we've seen from O'Keefe.

First half we played a back 3 and two wing backs so a 532 or 352 bit I dont think it was working or the players didnt know how to implement it. Two many crosses being made into the box and everyone just ball wat hing and leaving players unmarked.

Second half switched to more of a 442 and looked better for it. Midfielders/forwards worked harder to track back and help prevent the crosses.

List took both his goals superbly.

Never felt comfortable at the back but had pur own chances. 2-2 was probably fair enough in the end.

Cuthbert's last minute foul and yellow card was a point-saver. Well fouled!

I think the injury to Coker which forced the change was the crucial incident. Before it, Rochdale were all over us.
Even then had their finishing been better we would have shipped four or five...but I guess that is why their strikers are playing in League Two. For me Read and List (obviously) should be the first names on the team sheet. Not sure why Reid is consistently preferred to Norris.

Just seen O'Keefe's post match interview and the first part of it is basically saying what I said, even about Cuthbert's foul.

I do like it when managers have the same view of a game as me.

I also love how honest and simple he keeps it. I guess with no pressure of being sacked you don't have to bullshit so much and can just tell it how it is.

That said Rochdale really should have buried us in the first half, if they could finish!

Amusing how views of a game totally depend on who is in charge.

If Revell was in charge he would have been annihilated for our poor performance and being lucky that Rochdale didn't put away more chances.

Likewise some comments I saw from the Colchester game amused me as first half we were no better than we had been under Revell and if they had any strikers we would have been well behind, but it was being made out we were amazing just because Revell had gone.

I do it as much as anybody else when I like or dislike a manager, but it is funny how much of an impact it has on our take of a match.

Colchester was miles better than it has been. Mostly due to the fact that our players actually passed the ball to each other and there was none of that dogshit hooking the ball down the line.

The Rochdale game was the worst of the 3, but we managed to stay in the game, and whether that was down to List or whether that was down to the team is irrelevant. Under Revs we would have lost that game 3-0. I'm almost certain of it.

The fact that Revs was saying List needs to improve his finishing tells you everything we need to know about Revs and how much he knows about football. Zero.

With regular, quality service, he would score a sack load. I'm really surprised no-one further up has come in for him. Blistering pace, exceptional finishing, and scoring goals for a team that has been fucking dreadful for pretty much the entire time he's been here.

EDIT: I mean... he's total garbage and shouldn't be poached by anyone because he's clearly only good enough for us...

Strangely, my machine learning algorithm (which definitely didn't have us winning 1-0 on Saturday) is going for a 1-0 Stevenage win. Though it's neck and neck at 38.34% chance of a Rochdale win and 38.89% chance of a Stevenage win, so I don't think the algorithm actually has a scoobys!

Personally speaking, I would say 1-0 Rochdale.
