Plymouth might be a much bigger club, and Ryan Lowe a wee bit of a bell end, but you can’t argue with their set up. Lowe even looks to have a bit of the GW mania for detail about him, even though he would claim moral superiority because he plays ‘football’.

Would be nice if all the hard work done behind the scenes at Boro was geared to the success of the first team

It’s amazing what a manager or set of coaches can achieve as a team

At Bury, won promotion in 1st full season as manager before folding, league 2 highest scorers

At Plymouth, won promotion first attempt, 3rd highest scorers
2nd season in league 1, top of the league and 2nd highest scorers

All this while we have persisted with being the lowest scoring league team in EFL history over the last 3 years while Sampson and Revell have been coach/manager.

We need a a new approach!!!! NOW

He does have a shit tonne of money though. Bury went bust after their promotion winning season which says it all.

We need to compare ourselves to the likes of Morecambe and Accrington who have recently achieved on a shoe string budget.

Will that be the same Morecambe that were 4th highest scorers last year with 69 in 46 and 25 goals in 15 games in league 1 this year?

94 in 61 games. Living the dream

Compared to Stevenage
24 in 36 2 seasons ago
41 in 46 last season
11 in 15 this season

76 in 97 not so good

Our approach to games is probably over cautious which is why we are not scoring goals. These tactics have clearly not worked for the last 3 years.

If we actually approached the game’s differently, (this is either coaching or managerial tactics) then teams would see us as a threat if we regularly score 2 or 3.

Fans would be entertained that’s for sure and that is the biggest income generator you can have,
