I'll buy it.

Player within most dislikes gets it.

Just need someone with a bigger pair of balls than me to present it.

Can't believe Wilko is leading the wooden spoon race.

That last red wasn't justified, it shouldn't cloud people's opinion, it was a horrendous decision by the referee.

Ok Wilko makes mistakes, his positioning and concentration is lacking at times, and his distribution is poor, but I genuinely think he's committed and gives it all he can every week. He's a half decent League 2 functional centre back.

Which is more than can be said for quite a few others across that back line.

More versatile but not necessarily better. If I had to choose it'd be Franks for me, just, but only because he's able to cover both FB slots.

I rate FF more as a CB, his added versatility makes him even more valuable.

And I don't mind Wilko either. I'd have them both ahead of King at CB next season.

Wrong. Fraser used to be a danger in both penalty areas. Now he is usually only a danger in ours.
Looks good, then goes missing at crucial moments.

As I said to you when you said exactly that over our Xmas meal, I totally disagree. And it doesn't help when he keeps being in and out of the side so cannot form a partnership. When he gets a regular run he is more than good enough.

Wilko is a bigger threat in our own area than Fraser is, is a bigger threat for a sending off, and isn't as versatile. Fraser is a solid CB and a decent RB, I am happy with him in the side.

Well I agree with you on one thing Nathan...it doesn't help when he's in the side. Otherwise we'll agree to disagree.
I'm not sure any of our central defenders are good enough, but I would be inclined to stick with Wilko.
Interesting that we've had so few goals from them from set pieces compared to past seasons. An indication of Martin's crap delivery.

Ronnie's legs have gone, King's knees have gone and Martin's got an empty space where his heart should be.
Whelpdale is just one example of how crap the recruiting has been this season, Newton excepted.

Over the season, yes.

At least Martin had a decent number of assists early on and King had some good games.

Whelps has scored one goal and had one or two assists. The rest of the season he has been anonymous at best.

We shouldn’t have ever signed Whelpdale and released Lee. Whelpdale is half the player he was because his other half, and his heart has been torn from him. For years, he and Lee have been an unbreakable bond and a formidable lower league unit. Now, they’re alone, crying into their pillows at night wondering what happened.

So don’t slate Whelps. Shed a tear for them both.
