Will remember him for the banger he scored at York 3 years ago when he looked like he could be someone.

Only players now left from that day's team are Day, Ronnie and Whelps (the long way round).

That was a very good game we saw what a proper front 5 could do that day, sadly was the last time as well.

Parrett, Lee, Pett, Whelps and Marriott

If they'd stayed fit who knows.

Good luck to him. Could thrive at Lincoln played in the right position.

The reality is that if GW had stayed (sorry to go back there) he may well have kicked on and become a much better player, and even perhaps been sold for a few quid too, instead he spent the best part of three seasons out of position.

Good luck to him, Iโ€™m personally sorry to see him go. Ok not much competition but he was easily our best flair player, he at least gave it a go and whatever you may think we were better when he was in the team.

Good luck to him, was good when played in his correct position.

Interesting quotes from him http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42890649

"I saw the game last night, it gave me a taste of what's to come," Pett told the club website.

"The crowd are not quiet, which is massive for a player. It's one of the main things when I heard Lincoln were interested in me."

We used to be loud, what happened....

Yep. Beautyman, Turgott and now Pett. Because who needs any attacking options in midfield.
