Local Rag, Bang on!

"...The 174 Stevenage fans who made the trip to Chesterfield and supported their team throughout – 10: True loyalty. It’s easy to support a glitzy side from afar. It’s more difficult to travel the length and breadth of the country to support their hometown team in League Two. The Boro lads and lasses here at Chesterfield today were simply Premier League."

According to the Chesterfield forum, DS ‘is like Graham Westley Mk2, no intentions of playing any football’.

Yes, but they are nothing special, as seen in the League position and points tally. Typical League 2 kick, clog and run team. Nasty outfit.

My personal favourite quote.

We can confirm that the author of the player, manager and fan ratings was auditioning for a job at The Daily Stevenage. He didn’t get the job as not even The Daily Stevenage would take the piss to this extent. It’s a dark day for journalism.

I’m guessing Kenners got an 8 for goading the Chesterfield fans after his goal.

Aside from that he was piss poor.

Those ratings though?

A tad rose-tinted for a serious journalist even though we'd expect him to be a bit partisan.

You can’t be doling out realistic ratings when you want an invite to the inner sanctum to interview our highly-rated young manager to discuss his tough upbringing on the UK’s toughest council estate.

Buttering him up for access will prove invaluable when he releases Stevenage FC: The Fire and The Fury and lifts the lid on the squad's views on Darren's mental health.

I was dragged up 11 doors from Darren, it was the posh end of Jackmans estate.

We had flowers in the engine bay of the Cortina on the lawn and had plastic covers for the cushions on the sofa by the garage.

Layth usually watches Arsenal, so you can fill in your own jokes about being better than his usual viewing.
