Quick question:

I'm just wondering if it's actually a question for the provider or not... since the domain name has nothing to do with them. I pay for the Borochat web address otherwise the address would be called footballwebpages.something. Does that make a difference?

I'm not very computer savvy.

Yeah it is one for them, you only own the domain name, they own the web hosting of the site and any config/security for that.

They currently secure their site when you pay to remove adverts and rightly so, so should be able to secure this site as well.

Is theres a cost to buy the certificate I'll chip in...

When your visiting this site your posts and passwords are not encrypted and sent clear text for everyone to see over the interwebs.

Would recommend not using a password on here that you use on other sites, especially banking and the like.
