From memory, names I've seen people mention were:

McCann - at a bigger club already with Donny
Lindsey - too late too appoint if Crawley win play off
Duff
Ainsworth - thinks he's better than he is, probably wouldn't entertain little ol Stevo, the club with no ambition (quote)
Woodman - possibly, big step from conference to league 1, could see moaners still moaning
Cowley - already employed, compo pay out to get him,
Flynn
Garrard - Failed

Whether they were attainable or would be any better I don't know.

There were plenty more in the next manager odds market.
