Disagree.

People will give it the "focus on the league" when we lose, but we aren't going up and we aren't going down, so I was really targeting the FA Cup this season to go on a little run and make some much needed money. And then we got one of the toughest possible draws, and have injuries everywhere, so now that is probably fucked.

But that giving us a week off in December, and the fact we have already qualified and are facing the worst team in the group in our final match of the Trophy in three weeks, will help with injuries getting back fit and not pushing other players in the meantime.

Edit: We actually discussed in our group in the Norf Stand on Tuesday night that after the cup draw and likelihood we get knocked out, that we should really be targeting the EFL Trophy this season as we should genuinely believe we can win it this year, and if we only have that and the league there is no reason not to really go for it. Understandably it gets bad press, but the club can make good money from it and how often do we get the chance to win silverware or play at Wembley?
