To be fair, we battered them for 40 mins after that. Whether it was planned, tactical or forced, it worked. Albeit Reading may have also taken their foot off but I don't think they would have just soaked up all that pressure second half and not tried to change it.
Pidge's ability to find Butler in acres of space down the left time and again allowed us to work in the final third and get balls in the box. This wouldn't have happened had we kept TVC on the pitch. It was refreshing and thoroughly entertaining. Shame we didn't score and got caught out at the other end but that was the kind of football I want to see more of
