Thats the exactly point though - everyone remembers the 2 games the season after we won the league and thinks that is how many fans we had back then. It wasn't. It was 1,500 fans and 4,500 day trippers who never came again other than the Newcastle fa cup game.

2 games, out of over 350 home games we played in the conference. 80-90% of them we had attendances around 2,000 - 2,500 and I would hazard a guess we have 30-40 games under 1,700 attendance.

Our numbers now are at least double that, if not more, for every game.
