He was largely the invisible man who never gave interviews, which doesn't mean his input wasn't a crucial part of last season's success. I simply don't know. I've always been struck by Scott's eloquence; he is a thinker who expresses himself particularly well. If Revs went for any reason I think he could and would step up.
But this won't have come out of the blue. Plans will be in hand.
