I love diving. As a gifted forward it’s a delight to draw in a wretched defensive type and know exactly the moment he slides in, to just allow a breath of contact… then one must scream as one descends to the ground.

In Italy this is just seen as a skilled part of the game. Cunning.

But no, I want my football team to hurry along at all times. Particularly when 1-0 up in the last few minutes. Run along and collect the ball for them. We simply must be the most Corinthian upstanding example to all!!! Wah wah
