This whole thread has been fascinating. As someone who has just turned 58, I’ve been gloating this last season that I’m not far off getting a concession (daft though I’ve always thought the 60 age limit to be). Now that’s been kicked down the road. Never mind.

I’m also ex-forces (@Balders - inc 21SAS at Chelsea for 9 months secondment) but have never known of or thought to brandish my ex-forces credentials. Maybe I start that this year?? Worth a thought. I’ll look into it, but despite having endless evidence of my time in uniform, I don’t think I’ve necessarily got the ID card, if I had one - I really don’t remember it?

I was also, this very morning, going to get my first Season Ticket in many years. Show willing, I thought. But then I checked out the details and decided to just PAYG each week. No real benefit to the ST, especially with the hidden extras and the fact that I miss two or three home games each season.
