This is my thoughts exactly.
It would be wonderful to go all the way to the Championship but there has to be some realism too.
The finance needed to sustain a place in that league would be astronomical. I don't think even Mr Wallet has enough money in the bank to finance it. We would need more outside investment especially when you compare our attendances with others in that league plus higher costs overall.
Boro lost £1.3m last season...wait for it...Bolton lost nearly £14m.
It makes you think doesn't it?
