If you’re predicting based on average points you also have to assume every other team will pick up the same average points they have been all season too. Not just take our average points total and compare it to previous seasons. And not just average out an arbitrary number like 14 games. Because the other games happened and they count. It’s the same silly logic as winning game one of the season and saying we’d end up on 138 points if we keep it up.

Averaging everything out leaves us around about where we are, if not slightly higher because we have picked up our points from fewer games than most of the other teams in the division.
