Oh don’t get me wrong it’s not fun viewing. First and foremost we’re in a results business (also not happening right now).

At the start of the season we played with more intent. What we’re seeing now reminds me more of last season. Somewhere along the line, for some reason (which may not be due to Revs, but it is his job to fix it) that intent has gone awol. I think there’s been a bit of a “freeze” where we’ve realised how well things were going early doors and as a result have reverted to “don’t lose.” Sadly when that goes wrong we inevitably do lose.

I said the other week I’d rather see us fail but miss out swinging than playing within ourselves and still failing. The first option gives us more of a chance of succeeding. I stand by that. The absolute melt down after every game is just a bit much. It wasn’t this bad on here when we looked like we were dropping out of League Two (twice).
