He's definitely got to start acknowledging realities soon. I hope he's at least doing so privately in the dressing room with the players.
He's not exactly sounding like Wilfred Nancy, but he does seem at a loss right now.
Give him until mid-March at the end earliest before having a conversation about sacking him.
However if form gets any worse then he'll be surviving game to game by mid-February.
