"We had our best ever start but that ended months ago"

Had we held on and won yesterday we would have been on our best ever start in League One right now. Today. Halfway through a season. As it is we are a mere three points off our best ever start, and one win off our most ever wins at this stage.

Win one of our two or three games in hand and we are in the playoffs. That is very much competing, in my eyes.
