Ryan Doherty - a positive in a puddle of recent frustration

As Neil Metcalfe and Revs correctly pointed out, the guy can play mens football now.
He's 17 so shouldn't be starting games but assuming he is training full time with the senior squad I'd expect to see him coming on regularly as a sub second half of the season, for Harvey, Louis or Jordan, I think he can cover for any of them if they're blowing or on a yellow at 70 minutes.
Hopefully he doesn't go out on loan in January. Because he'd probably be in the Conference at best.
We've had a lot of 'false dawn' young players come through who haven't pushed on to nail down a place (McKee, Iontton, Gorman) but usually it's been when we have not had much competition, Ryan is fighting Harvey, Dan P, Louis and Jordan for a squad place, which can only do him good mid to long term.
