The smallest currently are
 8th Watford · 7 Preston North End · 6 Portsmouth · 5 Swansea City · 4 Millwall · 3 Queens Park Rangers · 2 Oxford United · 1 Wrexham.

(Google told me this so could be rubbish, no idea what criteria was applied).

We are comfortably 'smaller' than all of them but have also bested most of them in our recent(ish) past.

And given 1-2 clubs get a points deduction for committing financial suicide or being owned by a crook most years we might have a fighting chance of staying up...
