In all honesty much of the game was awful - the wind destroyed any chance of decent football.

Before we scored I felt we were struggling a bit. Thankfully Marshall made an excellent save at 0-0. After that we improved & scored 2 cracking goals. It should have been 3 when Reid missed a glorious chance!

Marschall was pretty much faultless today in difficult conditions. Goode was solid as always & I thought Sweeney did well which was a relief. Wildin & Freestone also had very good games with Luther winning some great tackles.

I also think Houghton is a much better player than he’s given credit for. He quietly goes about his business & is really effective at getting a foot in, linking up play & organising. People are raving about White but I felt a lot of the game passed him by.

Reid worked his socks off and, apart from the big miss, he battled well. The 2 wingers were also heavily involved - I really like Campbell & Lubala is settling in nicely. Kemp was a bit muscled out of the game but he is always a danger.

Our bench is so strong now - I honestly think we’ve got a chance in every game which is a lovely refreshing feeling!

All in all a fabulous result & it’s great to see Luton fans so quiet!
