I’m not sure where the optimism over Banfield having contacts comes from.
Evans has contacts and can pull strings. That’s what’s got us to League One let’s make no bones about it. He’s like Harry Redknapp lite in that respect. Even if Banfield is in tight at Arsenal still (which I doubt as he’s here and not there), there’s a limit on the number of players we can loan from a single club.
