Look at his overall record. It's far too early to say we are now an expansive attacking side. The signs are promising tho' granted.
Do you think that will be his sustained approach? When we hit a bad patch?
I'm relatively sure he will revert to his previous safety first approach a fair bit. It is in his nature as a coach and tactician, altho' I accept his player recruitment and tactics so far this season have been more promising in terms of style.
I'd love you to be right and for us to try and win every game rather than try not to lose a lot of them. But the evidence isn't there yet to be removed sure of that.
This isnt a criticism of how we play, our budget means we have to be pragmatic at times, to kill opposition attacking threats, and it can be a dull spectacle, but it still takes a lot of coaching, effort and skill to deliver.
Let's review in November.
