The same for me. I think it's because the majority of those fifty odd goals have come in fits and starts and in flurries of 7 or 8 at a time, with a lot of dross in the middle.
I also feel like confidence is such an important trait in a striker and he's just not naturally confident. Revs and Evans have both said it and it's meant we've had to coax good performances from him, or give him a partner, possibly to the detriment of the team.
It was pretty telling how much more space the three strikers today created for themselves without us doing anything massively different.
He's been a good player for us during some great times but it's definitely the right time for everyone IMO (and he's below Beardsley for me!)
