You make some very interesting points, but I have to question you saying we strikingly petered out last season as it just is not true!
We won ten matches in our final 17, only losing four (or five of our final ten, only losing two)!
And that despite us being riddled with injuries that meant most players starting games played almost every game for the final two or three months.
We didn't sustain top two form, but that was never going to happen with our resources (even if we had additional analysts).
