Recruitment

I know this may be a little premature but this always enters my mind for playoff sides.

Are we essentially hitting pause on recruitment and contract renewals for up to 3 weeks (if we make the final)?

I know the transfer window doesn't open until mid-June but right now I'm sure we'd already be putting together a list of players we're going after and players coming to the end of their contracts elsewhere (are approaches allowed before June for those players?).

Until we know which league we're playing in next season we can't press ahead too strongly with bringing in new players surely?

That being said which positions do people think need strengthening either way? Who needs to be cleared out? And are there any players we've been linked with or should go for whichever league we're in next season?

Personally I think our recruitment shouldn't vary too much if we make it up versus staying in League One. I don't want us falling into the trap of paying Championship wages and then falling back to League One and being saddled with them.
