Our strategy, which has been executed really well so far, has been to overcome the financial gulf by removing all the risk from games, giving those better players no chance to exert their influence.

It's maybe reassuring that it's taken until now to get a result like last night, where a combination of poor decision making and an opposition who showed up ready to capitalise meant it all came crashing down dramatically.

When we reduce the game to fine margins it is possible for a flood to come if every single one of them goes against us. Look at how the first couple of goals came from lovely touches from them to break through our press in a second, which we've got no answer to; I would have expected that to happen a lot more often than it has this season.
