Not that I think it's likely they would, but it's an interesting decision if they did.
On the one hand Revs is deeply invested in us and has a real connection and is settled, but also has a connection to Rotherham.
Like it or not they are a bigger club than us and would probably pay better. It's also a chance to test himself elsewhere and grow his CV.
If we get to the playoffs and lose, and it would be a big rebuild phase for us, then I could see him dropping a league by choice for the potential he has there.
Equally he may feel unfinished business here. Definitely wouldn't go if we were in the championship 🤣
So yeah an interesting one. Could justify either choices.
