And in that same thread I said we needed five points, and questioned why everybody thought we were going to keep losing these three when we had lost once in ten, and sure enough it is now once in 13.
We had had a tough run of fixtures, had played mostly away, were missing players through injury who really hampered our options (no fit strikers so had to play Reid up top alone every game and no fit LB so couldn't play three at the back with WBs), and had guys like Kemp returning from injury and getting back to fitness.
One win is only a start, and I am not going to get carried away, same as people shouldn't after a couple of defeats, but we now have easier fixtures coming, a bunch more home games, players are returning from injury to allow us to successfully play a different formation (Saxon enables three at the back), and we have Cornick getting sharp and match fit to give another option up top.
